- Search Language specialist position -

- Search Language Specialist
The language specialist will work Search Engineers to help optimize search features for certain locales and languages. The role may include tasks like reviewing and evaluating sample sets of user queries, as well as product QA to finally deliver right product to the locale. This person would be an individual contributor to the project with occasional project management responsibilities for a sub-team.

[qualifications]
- Be a native on the language – native speaker and have lived at least 3years in the country for the last 5years.
- Is fluent in English both verbally and in writing and any secondary language of Japanese.
- Available to work physically 5 days/week at Seoul office.
- Demonstrated technical expertise within applications or have strong technology orientation.

[responsibilities]
- Query evaluation
Provide natural native-language expertise for a wide range of topic areas and help to define user needs.
Serve as expert “raters” for specific products, for engineers working on improving the software.
Dataset review
- Analyze data and further related analysis.
Review data, assessing cultural relevance, linguistic quality, and product fit.
- Understanding search results
Work with Engineers for advanced algorithm development.
Diagnose and report incorrect results.
- Data quality improvement
Report data quality issues
Write and translate to contribute to the quality of data contents.
- UI and Product improvement
Help adjust the user interfaces to the local languages.
Write configuration documents for explanations and subtitles
Run QA on the UI

[working conditions]
- location : Gang-nam, Seoul
- working time : 9:00 a.m ~ 6:00 p.m
- contract : 1 year contract (you can extend your contract yearly).
